The young boy worked meticulously for nearly an hour to build the perfect leaf pile, situated in the perfect location right next to a green picnic table. The weather was just right, not cold enough to warrant a sweater or a jacket and without a strong wind to decimate his leaf pile efforts. He clambered to the top of the table and took a joyous leap into his leaf creation, a moment he had been savoring since he thought up the idea the night before at supper.
